Fact: In Pokemon-land Otters can bang Pelicans and have bebehs.

Sams daddy is a Floatzel named Dave. Hes an incredibly over-the-top life guard. He enjoys his job solely because he can be flashy and handsome and ... just... over the fuckin top. Does the whole Bay Watch thing... Slow motion running to save someone... No ones died on his watch though. Hes free spirited and just always smiling and being pleasant. Hes pussy-whipped though. He has a bunch of tattoos because Penny thinks theyre hot. He spent most of his time with Otto when he was younger(he found Sam to be intimidating and scary... even as a child.)

Sams mommy is a Pelipper named Penny. She is where Sam gets his intimidating-ness from. She rarely smiles and is super scary when she wants to be. She enjoys writing and has her own advice column. Since Dave was a huge pussy and was scared of his son, she raised Sam the way she wanted to, thus creating a monster. She is very proud of him.
Penny has a bit of a tattoo fetish and makes her husband get loads of them, or else.

Sams older brother is a Floatzel named Otto. Hes far more enthusiastic then Sam, but less insane then his daddy. He enjoys getting tattoos now cause of all his dads but Pelly dont like them and beats him every time he gets a new one. He married Pelly cause she reminds him of his mommy and brother, hes yet to see how awkward that sounds. Him and Sam get along well but sometimes get into stupid sibling fights. Hes embarrassed that his little brother can pwn him.
Hes developed a slight fear of Pelipper. His scary mommy is one, his scary brother is one, and his scary wife is one. All of which hit for some reason or another.

Sams sister-in-law is a Pelipper names Pelly. Shes just like Ottos mom minus the tattoo fetish. She thinks that well adjusted people dont get tattoos.
Otto argues that his daddy has loads of them.
Pelly points out that he proves her point.
Her and Sam dont get along at all, Sam thinks shes not good enough for his dumb-ass brother and she thinks Sam is a narcissistic asshole(whichhekindais). She also does not get along with Penny. Perhaps they cant get along due to same personalities. Having them all in the same room makes Otto feel SO uncomfortable. Hes afraid to take a side and theyre expecting him to, so all three of them end up staring at him with those creepy slitted eyes.

Sams nephew is a shiny Wingull and Skipper. Hes tiny and cute and Sams proud to be his uncle(lolUncleSam). Otto was kinda devastated that he turned out to be a Wingull and not a Buizel. Now hes gonna have to deal with another scary Pelipper OHNOES! Sam thinks the name Skipper was a terrible for a boy and often criticizes Pelly for the choice and calls him 'Skip' instead much to Pellys disdain.

Sam hopes that once Otto stops being such a dumb shit and realizes how creepy it is he married a girl that reminds him of Sam and his mommy... theyll get a divorce.

Sams hat was his grandfathers that he stole.
(His grandfather was a scary Pelipper too.)
